Get to know....

 With my job being in IT I spend a LOT of time at work. Naturally, that means I have gotten to know my co-workers very well and I understand how they will react to certain situations.  This makes things go a little smoother especially in pressure situations. 
  In life, if we have pressure situations need to know how to react to those in order to help us through.  First and foremost we should always act as Jesus would have acted to our situation.  In order to do this wouldn't you say you would need to know how He would react first? The only way to do this is to know Him better by reading and studying His word.  The most important thing we can do is to study the Word of God.
   Everything we need to know about how to handle anything life throws at us can be found in this Book, if we know where to look.  Take time to read, study, and most importantly, make some quiet time with God to get to know Him better. It is amazing how much easier things can be when you know how He would react.and apply it to whatever particular situation you are in.  We will never have a trouble free life, but if we know Him and trust Him it can make the road a much less stressful one.
   Take some time to get to know Him.  See for yourself what it will do for you.

Psalm 62:8  Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

Proverbs 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Psalm 119:42  Then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.
